The Dangers of "Touchy - Feely" Politics

It is quite interesting how all the democrats love Obama (well, half of them anyway), but he really has no track record at all. He can sure talk all sweet and pretty, but how do we know he isnt just all full of talk? He has no actions to support his rhetoric.

But a lot of people dont seem to care; they just like him because he is inspirational. A vague sense of doing good things for america...

Annnnd round 2...

people scare me sometimes...

And shouldn't we be a bit more critical of behavior such as THIS coming from a candidate for president of the US?

I love Mark Steyn. Like:

"Poor mean, vengeful Hillary, heading for a one-way ticket on the Oblivion Express, has a point. Barack Obama is an elevator Muzak dinner-theater reduction of all the glibbest hand-me-down myths in liberal iconography – which is probably why he's a shoo-in. The problems facing America – unsustainable entitlements, broken borders, nuclearizing enemies – require tough solutions, not gaseous Sesame Street platitudes."

Elevator Muzak? Gaseous Sesame Street platitudes? Who else is writing this well in America's newspapers?

How about this for a proposal:

"In his speech in Janesville, Mr. Obama proposed creating a National Infrastructure Reinvestment Bank to invest $60 billion over 10 years and create nearly 2 million new jobs in the construction field. He said the program would be paid for by ending the Iraq war. He also renewed his call to create an energy plan to invest $150 billion over 10 years to establish a “green energy sector” to add up to 5 million jobs in the next two decades."

Talk about the very height of selfishness. We'll pull out of Iraq, initiating a genocide there, in order to create jobs in America. Surely this kind of lame, thoughtless political pandering will not be rewarded in America?. Please?!
