Gregarious = open mouth, insert foot. People who talk a lot will be embarrassed by their words more frequently. After all, it's just a matter of odds; we're all destined to step in it, but quiet, contemplative types will reveal their stupidity less often. That doesn't mean they are less stupid, just less willing to let others know!
Hopefully he didn't major in International Relations...
But hey, now that I think about it, they speak mostly Arabic in London, don't they?
