Small Arms Range

So today I got to go out to one of the ranges here at APG and shoot some guns for a couple of hours. HOOO BOY!! so much fun. Nothing like a 30 round clip at full auto...

I smell like gunpowder a little bit. :)

We had all kinds of guns there to play with. M-16, M-4, AK-47, AK-74, and several XM8 variants. Those XM8's were my favorites... saweeeet guns. H&K knows how to make a good gun.

Were you shooting at cats? That would be fun...imagine how fast you could have them scurrying about...


H&K? whodat? Harmen and Kardon? I thought they made high-end audio equipment...


As to reading the blog, I'm told by reliable sources, to whom I've voiced the same complaint, that reading and commenting are two entirely different things, and that I should not assume my posts are not being read simply because no one comments on them.

I find this explanation entirely unsatisfying, but it seems I'm helpless to effect change, in that I've tried several times to engage and dialog via the blog and no one has responded.

Be that as it may, I didn't respond to your post because we talked about it on the phone, albeit before you went a-shooting, and therefore felt like any comments I could make would be mere showmanship, not really constructive or engaging.

Except for this: Jannell, I appreciate your enthusiastic acceptance of the difference between the sexes. Embrace your feminine side!

How does shooting guns help your work? I want to go shoot guns. It will help my...er...preparedness for Iranian.
