New job
So...I don't have anything intelligent to say about Iran or Iraq or anything political, but I would like to report that next Tuesday I have an interview for a new job (my boss thinks I'm going to an afternoon training seminar). I kind of applied out of the blue, but it's for a position that has interested me for a while. It is to be the Internal Auditor at the credit union where we have our money. I would still get to audit and stay in the financial institution industry, but would only have about a 15 minute commute every day and wouldn't have to drive all over creation in traffic. And I'd get all of the government holiday off for a change ;) And there would be fewer crazy hours...and no Saturdays!!! So pray for me next Tuesday at 2:00pm if you think about it.

yay, how exciting! I will pray. government holidays is a big deal! Matt and his government bums have a 4-day week about every other week...
heh. heh.
i actually DO have a 4 day week every other week... and when there is a holiday thrown in, SHAZAM! 4 day weekend. or 3 day work week, whichever i feel like...
*sigh* its hard sometimes...
but yeah, we are hoping she gets this job.
I've went ahead and sent a link of this blog to your boss...
I hope the interview goes really well for you - do you think you'll be live-blogging the event? Could be a first for this blog... Maybe even get us some video clips - you know, of some of those uncomfortable moments.
I knew you guys were doing okay, but switching jobs to watch over your bank account is a bit excessive, no? I mean, it is insured, right?
Seriously, we will be thinking of, and praying with, you on Tuesday. We expect a full account of all the gory details!
You know, knocking 30 minutes each way off your commute is a benifit worth more than money. You're actually getting paid in time. Just think, you'll have 5 more hours a week than you did before.
Count on our prayers, Jannell! It would be a NICE change for you!
